Baby's first airplane trip to gustavus

Yesterday Seth flew our little family to Gustavus for the day....little Joshy did great being three days old. He slept the whole way and lilley had fun pretending to be a pilot. When we got there Seth ended up spending a lot time getting his dads surburban unstuck, not really what he wanted to do with his time off from work.
It was good to get out of the house and enjoy the sun...

I can't believe he is here already!!! Our little family is complete and now comes the adjustment of having two kids.
Thursday the 24th I had my weekly appointment that I went in for...my doctor checked me to see if I had dilated any since I had been having contractions through out the day. He was shocked to find that I was %100 effaced and dilated to a four already...he said, it looks like you will be having a baby tonight.
I went home and got Lilley's stuff all together, made fajitas so I wouldn't have to eat hospital food, got Seth and we were off.
We dropped Lilley off at my moms and got to the hospital a little early than probably expected...I just didn't want to miss my window for an epideral.
The nurses got me all set up and then I was checked again...still dilated to a four...my doctor broke my water and said in a few hours you probably will be ready for your epideral. Well, 20 minutes after my water broke I went from a 4 to a 7 and then 20 more mintues later I was pushing...my total labor was 58 minutes and there was no time for my epideral. The nurses had me hooked to an iv just as I was pushing and due to the quickness of everything...my hands seized up and my body went into shock but everything went smoothly...little Joshua is healthy and we were released 15 hours later.

35 weeks

Well we are getting closer and I wouldn't be surprised if this little guy came a little early...so I wanted to get once last photo opp with Lilley and of course Seth wanted pictures with me and the bear gun...now I am only posting the one picture that is suitable for you to see, the others are just for us...he has been wanting to do this for a while now once my belly got big enough.

Out to Gustavus

We had a great day today, Lilley experienced a whole list of new things...She flew in a plane with her grandpa, while her dad followed behind in his plane. She rode a four wheeler, shot a rifle and a pistol, she played in the dirt, tried to kill a bear with a bb gun...plus she went to the store and picked out her own goodies (not a new thing)and she helped dad drive the truck.

We had a great time and it was really exciting to see Seth flying his plane...a great Saturday!

He cut and shaved

When Seth left the ARMY he said he wasn't going to shave or cut his hair for two years...TWO YEARS. It was getting pretty long...and I really am not a fan of long hair or long facial hair. Last night he pulled out the shaver and cut his hair and that long goatee off. He must really love me to do that...Now he looks so handsome!!!!

Happy Easter

Yesterday we had our little Easter egg hunt at my in laws...Lilley rocked, she was able to find a bunch of eggs and got a little competitive with her cousins.
Then this morning the Easter Bunny left her a basket that she can't leave alone...the grass she loved esp. throwing it around the room was fun for her but not so fun for me...it quickly found the garbage.

27 weeks

I guess I better post a few pictures of the prego me...I can't believe tomorrow i will be 27 weeks...the time is flying and as time gets closer I get a little nervous at the thought of two kids. Anyway, here are a few pics.
