Lilley and Carson

The craziest thing happend yesterday to Carson, she had a seizure just out of the blue. It was so scary to watch her and feel so helpless. Her jaw clenched shut, she was foaming at the mouth, her paws were curling up under her, pupils were huge and she was shaking. She has never had this happen before...I took her to the vet to have her blood drawn to check her liver, kidneys and to check for poisin. We don't find out till Friday about the blood work but the vet said in this breed around 3 years of age they will start having seizures. It may happen once or it will continue...if she has them once in a while then we are to just let her have them and be there to comfort her when she comes out of it...but if she were to have them in clusters or all the time she will need to be put on medication for epilepsy. The seizures aren't harmful to her and aparantly you black out during it. Needless to say, she has been getting a lot of love since she came home from the vets.

Just in the last couple of days Lilley has been able to climb up a flight of stairs, can wave bye bye, pulls herself up onto things and has two new teeth coming in...the top two next to the front ones. Making this a total of six teeth...now I know why she was so cranky the other day. So many changes in just a little time...before I know it she will be walking.

Yes she will be walking soon! Isn't it weird how sometimes they get all these teeth at the same time and then get nothing forever!
Sorry to hear about Carson, that is scary. Give loves from us.
